Background
The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is issuing this Request for Quotations (RFQ) to solicit quotations for the construction of an access road to enable safe, continuous circulation and maneuvering of tanker trucks supplying the Liquid Oxygen (LOX) tank installed at Hospital Geral de Nampula (HGN), Natiquiri District, Nampula Province, Mozambique.
This work is part of CHAI’s ongoing support, in partnership with GLOBAL FUND, to strengthen Mozambique’s national medical oxygen ecosystem, including the supply and installation of Vacuum Insulated Evaporator (VIE)/LOX tanks and ambient vaporizers, and related testing, commissioning, and civil works. The LOX tank at HGN is already installed; this RFQ addresses the remaining access-road infrastructure required to keep it operational through regular tanker resupply.
Procurement Overview and Deadlines
Questions regarding the administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted by July 17, 2026. Questions must be emailed to CHAI Mozambique Procurement – mzlocalprocure@clintonhealthaccess.org. Relevant questions and clarifications may be posted by CHAI, either through an amendment to this RFQ or directly to offerers who have demonstrated interest in bidding.
All quotations must be received by July 24, 2026. Offers should be emailed. All offers must be submitted using the letter in Annex A and must include a copy of a valid business license (Alvará). Offers received after the due date and time will be considered late and accepted only at CHAI’s discretion.
