Overview
The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI), with support from UNITAID through the East Africa Program on Oxygen Access (EAPOA), is facilitating efforts to strengthen medical oxygen ecosystems across East Africa. In Tanzania, this initiative supports the Ministry of Health to improve access to medical oxygen through the installation of Vacuum-Insulated Evaporator (VIE) tanks and vaporizers at public health facilities.
CHAI invites interested and capable vendors to submit bids for civil works related to the installation of VIE tanks and vaporizers at ten (10) health facilities across mainland Tanzania. The scope of work includes reinforced concrete plinths, fencing, electrical and water connections, and related infrastructure improvements. Detailed technical specifications are provided in the bid documentation.
