SUPREME-SECURE is a Unitaid-funded program working to strengthen sustainable access to quality-assured diagnostics and treatments for preeclampsia, eclampsia, and maternal anemia in sub-Saharan Africa. CHAI is leading this initiative in partnership with Concept Foundation, Aurum Institute, Burnet Institute, and WACI Health.
As part of the program’s market access work, CHAI is now accepting proposals from manufacturers of ferric carboxymaltose (FCM), an intravenous iron product clinically proven as a safe and effective treatment for pregnant women with anemia across diverse populations.

Target countries include Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, and Tanzania, with potential for broader low- and middle-income country (LMIC) reach. Selected manufacturers may receive technical assistance and/or financial support to accelerate development, approval, and supply.
