Request for proposals for deployment of AI-assisted cervical visualization tools in low- and middle-income countries

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), with support from Unitaid, invites proposals for the development, validation, commercialization, and deployment of AI-assisted cervical visualization tools (AI-ACVT) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of death among women globally, with more than 90% of deaths occurring in LMICs due to limited access to effective screening and treatment. AI-ACVT solutions offer a promising alternative by enabling real-time, point-of-care clinical decision support.

Through this RFP, CHAI seeks proposals for co-investment from organizations capable of commercializing, validating, and deploying AI-ACVT solutions in support of cervical cancer elimination. The aim is to expand access to accurate, low-cost screening and accelerate progress toward cervical cancer elimination.

Submissions deadline: June 9, 2026
