SUPREME-SECURE is now accepting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from manufacturers of point-of-care preeclampsia biomarker assays, across two categories: (1) near point-of-care, blood-based sFlt-1 and/or PlGF assays for diagnosis and short-term risk prediction; and (2) minimally invasive biomarker assays — using capillary blood, urine, or saliva — for early risk screening, diagnosis, and short-term prediction. SUPREME-SECURE is a Unitaid-funded program working to expand access to quality-assured maternal health diagnostics in sub-Saharan Africa. CHAI's consortium partner, Concept Foundation, has launched two open RFPs for these diagnostics, critical tools for earlier detection and management of preeclampsia.
