Introduction
The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is supporting the strengthening of medical oxygen ecosystems, including the improvement of medical oxygen availability and supply systems in Eastern Africa through support of Unitaid. The East Africa Program on Oxygen Access (EAPOA) aims to improve access to medical oxygen in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) across East Africa. The initiative seeks to bolster the capacity of local manufacturers to meet the growing demand for medical oxygen.
CHAI invites financial and technical proposals (RFP) from Manufacturers interested and capable of supplying high pressure compressed cylinders filling station complete with cylinder filling reciprocating pump skid, control panel, electrical panel, high pressure Vaporizers and Vacuum pump Kenya for medical oxygen cylinder filling.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to:
- Provide information to potential suppliers on CHAI’s needs and requirements.
- Solicit information from potential suppliers on their product offerings, capacity, current lead times, pricing, and other information pertinent to procurement planning.
- Evaluate submissions to identify and shortlist qualified potential supplier
Submissions
Interested organizations must submit their RFP (electronically) to the email ID chaikebids@clintonhealthaccess.org quoting RFP/CHAI-KE-EAPOA-001/26 in the subject line no later than March 13, 2026. When preparing your submission please be guided by the form attached as CHAI code of conduct and ethics for suppliers linked below.
For any clarification /queries please write to us at chaikebids@clintonhealthaccess.org with RFP reference number in the subject line by February 27, 2026. CHAI may contact respondents for further discussions regarding submissions and subsequent procurement.
