Background & Purpose
Many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) have fragmented, opaque, or incomplete data about their medical oxygen systems. To guide investments, support decision-making, and strengthen the ecosystem, the Global Oxygen Alliance (GO2AL), hosted by CHAI, seeks a partner to map oxygen production, storage, and service provider networks globally—starting initially with Sub-Saharan Africa. This mapping will produce a publicly accessible dashboard and database that identify infrastructure gaps, estimate demand vs. supply, and connect demand contexts with capable local providers.
