CHAI partner, Concept Foundation, launches RFPs for low-dose aspirin and magnesium sulphate under SUPREME-SECURE

SUPREME-SECURE is a Unitaid-funded program working to strengthen sustainable access to quality-assured diagnostics and treatments for preeclampsia, eclampsia, and maternal anemia in sub-Saharan Africa. CHAI is leading this initiative in partnership with Concept Foundation, Aurum Institute, Burnet Institute, and WACI Health.

As part of the program’s market access work, Concept Foundation is now accepting proposals from manufacturers of low-dose aspirin and magnesium sulphate – inviting partners to help improve the quality, availability, and affordability of two essential maternal health medicines.

Low-dose aspirin is the WHO-recommended intervention for the prevention of preeclampsia in high-risk pregnancies. Concept Foundation is seeking manufacturers capable of supplying quality-assured 75 mg tablets, with support available for product development, regulatory submissions, and registration and supply in target markets.
