The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), with support from Unitaid, invites proposals for the late-stage development, validation, regulatory approval, manufacturing scale-up, and commercialization of AI-enabled assisted cervical visual triage (AI-ACVT) solutions to support cervical cancer elimination efforts in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of death among women globally, with more than 90% of deaths occurring in LMICs due to limited access to effective screening and treatment. AI-ACVT solutions offer a promising alternative by enabling real-time, point-of-care clinical decision support.
Through this RFP, CHAI seeks proposals for co-investment from organizations capable of commercializing, validating, and deploying AI-ACVT solutions in support of cervical cancer elimination. The aim is at least one quality-assured, regulatory-approved, affordable and sustainable AI-ACVT tool widely available across the African region.
Submissions deadline: June 9, 2026
