Nyasatu Ntshalintshali

Vice President, Southern Africa; Country Director, Eswatini

Nyasatu (Satu) Ntshalintshali is the Regional Vice President for Southern Africa and Country Director for the Kingdom of Eswatini. In these roles, she supports teams in Eswatini, Lesotho, South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe to align with government priorities and deliver impactful programs cohesively and efficiently. Ms. Ntshalintshali joined CHAI in 2012 as the Malaria Operational Research Coordinator in Eswatini, coordinating malaria research to strengthen surveillance for elimination. She later led CHAI’s malaria elimination work across Southern Africa before becoming Country Director in Eswatini.

As Country Director, Ms. Ntshalintshali leads a team that has helped the government reform domestic financing for universal health coverage; expand regional knowledge-sharing platforms; strengthen care for diabetes, hypertension, and cancer; accelerate access to oxygen; and improve youth-friendly health services. She holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics and a Masters in Business Administration.
