CHAI appoints Rasha Hibri as Global Chief Financial Officer

  • Previously Chief Financial Officer for Allergan India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA)
  • Experience in multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals and telecommunication

Nov. 17, 2020 – The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rasha Hibri as Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She will be based in Dubai until she transitions to the United States and will oversee CHAI’s global finance strategy and global financial operations including Budgets & Reporting, Business System Applications, Contracts, the International Controller’s Office (including Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable), Internal Audit and Risk Management, Treasury, and Office Administration.

Ms. Hibri joins CHAI from Allergan, where she held the position of CFO for India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA), and was assigned in 2019 as Acting Country Manager for India. She will begin work with CHAI on Nov. 17, 2020.

Rasha Hibri, CHAI CFO, smiles into the camera.Prior to joining Allergan, Ms. Hibri was the CFO for the Middle East and North Africa region at British Telecoms Global Services from 2015 to 2018. She has also worked as CFO for Eli Lilly and Company in the region and as Finance Director for Merck Sharp and Dohme (MSD), where she led growth initiatives and assessed customer needs, in addition to optimizing resource efficiency and effectiveness.
