CHAI seeks Financing Independent Contractor to support the Mozambique Ministry of Health in developing a robust, data-driven, and fully costed Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health

Background

CHAI is seeking a highly motivated, mission-driven Financing Independent Contractor to support the Mozambique Ministry of Health (MoH) in developing a robust, data-driven, and fully-costed Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH) funding request for the next Global Fund grant cycle. This role is designed for an individual passionate about improving health systems through rigorous analytics, strategic planning, and collaborative problem-solving. The Associate will work closely with government stakeholders to strengthen health systems planning, optimize investments across diseases, and ensure Mozambique is positioned to secure an impactful Global Fund RSSH grant.

Purpose of the Consultancy

The individual will help lead the costing and resource mapping components of RSSH planning, including collaborating with a large number of government and technical partner stakeholders to conduct the costing of cross-cutting systems (supply chain, digital health, community health, laboratory systems, and others), resource gap analysis, prioritization, and funding proposal development. The role requires strong quantitative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
