CHAI began partnering with the government of Burkina Faso in 2019, supporting efforts to combat malaria and mobilize resources to finance its universal health coverage program. Since then, CHAI’s portfolio of work has grown to include sustainable health financing, COVID-19, diagnostics, digital health, and neglected tropical diseases. We collaborate with the government to implement its key priorities to reach universal health coverage, including operationalizing its “One Plan, One Budget, One Report” vision. This includes working with the government to improve the availability and use of data for planning and resource management from the central to the decentralized level.
