Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the supply of vacuum insulated evaporator (VIE) tank, vaporizer, and related commissioning services in Douala, Cameroon

The Clinton Health Access Initiative with funding from UNITAID is preparing to implement a liquid oxygen (LOX) supply chain model to explore the effectiveness of an alternative medical oxygen supply chain in Douala, Cameroon to supplement existing oxygen sources. The proposed supply chain involves acquisition of cost-effective bulk LOX and consequent shipping and/or trucking to Limbe Regional Hospital in Limbe. The implementation of the supply chain model is to begin with the procurement and commissioning of a VIE Tank and Vaporizer at Limbe Regional Hospital.

CHAI invites interested and capable vendors to submit bids for the supply of one or more of the following products required for the supply scheme proposed above: procurement of a VIE tank, vaporizer, and the Installation, testing and commissioning as detailed in the specification package detailed in Annex B of this ITB.

When preparing your responses to this ITB, please complete and use for guidance the forms attached as Annex A, Annex B and the CHAI code of conduct and ethics for suppliers, attached as Annex C.

Request for clarifications

Vendors can request for more information or clarifications via the email chaicameroonprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org quoting ITB/CHAI/VIE/CA0123 in the subject line on or before Feb 3, 2023, by 1 pm WAT.

Deadline

Qualified vendors can submit applications on or before Feb 10, 2023 by 12 am WAT via the email chaicameroonprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org quoting ITB/CHAI/VIE/CA0123 in the subject line.

Should your submission be large and cannot be sent by email, send a request for an upload link with the subject ‘Requesting upload link’ to chaicameroonprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org on or before Feb 8, 2023 by 1 pm WAT.
