Request for Expression of Interest: Implementation of RDT readers pilot in Cameroon

Overview

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Cameroon (CHAI Cameroon), is a Not-For-Profit Organization that began operations in Cameroon in 2007. CHAI supports the Government of Cameroon at both national and sub-national levels to strengthen health systems and improve access to life-saving health interventions across the country.

As part of its malaria surveillance strengthening efforts, CHAI Cameroon, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, is piloting a simplified method for monitoring malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) positivity through manual and digital tools. The initiative seeks to improve data reliability by comparing field-collected RDT results with health management information system data.

To support this, CHAI Cameroon is seeking expressions of interest from qualified local consultants or organizations to implement the pilot in selected districts. The consultant will engage with health facilities and community health workers (CHWs), conduct training, supervise implementation, and triangulate data from multiple sources.

Request for a Consultant

CHAI seeks proposals from eligible individuals or institutions with experience supporting malaria diagnosis, treatment, or integrated community case management in Cameroon. Detailed terms of reference are available in the full EOI document.
