Where We Work
With more than 600 staff and volunteers working in more than 25 countries, CHAI’s reach is truly global. We work hand-in-hand with the governments in these countries to help people gain access to essential medicines and health services. More than 70 countries directly benefit from the low priced drug and diagnostics agreements that we have negotiated.
Program Countries
We work on-the-ground with Program Countries to expand access to treatment, strengthen management capacity, and improve procurement and laboratory systems. We also train health care workers, and particularly seek to expand care to marginalized populations, such as children and people living in rural areas.
Procurement Consortium Countries
Procurement Consortium Countries have access to medicines and diagnostics at reduced CHAI-negotiated prices.
